Corrugated Packaging

In order to find the right corrugated packaging solution key, some aspects need to be taken into consideration including design, type of flute and paper quality. All of these aspects helps define what type of corrugated packaging that is right for your situation and product.

Below are some examples of different corrugated packaging solutions:

Double Wall Corrugated

Double wall corugated consists of two facings, two corrugated mediums and an inner liner in between to give five papers in total. The most common type is BC, which consists of one B-flute and one C-flute.

Triple Wall Corrugated

If a stronger box is needed, a triple wall corrugated can be the option. Triple wall board consists of seven layers of paper where three layers are flutes. These triple wall boxes are named according to the same system as double wall for example BCB.

Slotted Boxes

The slotted boxes can often be found as double folded sheets of corrugated board, which fold simply into a four-sided box. The top flaps meet in the centre and can be taped, glued or stapled to close. To save space and transport cost slotted boxes are shipped folded to the customer.

Die-Cut Boxes

Die-Cut boxes are good solution when high technique, special sizes and a high degree of customization is needed. The die-cut process ensures a higher degree of accuracy in size and consistency and allows for almost any shape or style of box to be manufactured.

Edgeboards

Edgeboard consists of severallaminated layers of strong paperboard. High quality reusable carton board is glued together under high pressure to produce an extremely stable profile element.
